Terminal operator invests $440m in Apapa ports

APM Terminals, in celebration of the 17th anniversary of its port concession agreement with the Nigerian government, revealed that it has invested over $440 million in the Apapa ports since 2006.

 The Country Managing Director of APM Terminals Nigeria, Mr Frederik Klinke, expressed gratitude to the government for the concession and acknowledged the contributions of shareholders, staff, and partners in modernizing the terminal and developing critical port infrastructure.

The Terminal Manager, Mr Steen Knudsen, highlighted the significant investments made by APM Terminals in facility upgrades, training, equipment, and technology, resulting in improved service delivery.

The Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Mr Mohammed Bello-Koko, commended APM Terminals for fulfilling the concession agreement and delivering efficient service, noting the transformation and upgrades achieved at the port facility.
