Standard Chartered Bank denies closing Nigerian branches
Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited has issued a statement denying rumors that it is closing its branches in Nigeria. The bank refuted the allegations made in the House of Representatives Ad Hoc committee report on the assets and liabilities of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. Standard Chartered Bank clarified that it remains fully committed to operating in Nigeria and serving its customers.
