Guinness Nigeria Plc has been recognized as one of the top five gender-balanced companies in Nigeria by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The IFC's diversity and inclusion assessment found that Guinness Nigeria has been exemplary in its inclusivity programs in the fast-moving consumer goods sector in Nigeria.

The Equileap Scorecard was used to assess the thirty most capitalized companies listed in the Nigeria Exchange Limited, NGS.

The report revealed that Guinness Nigeria was recognized as the Best Company for Parental Leave and was the only company among those assessed that offers 26 weeks of fully paid maternity leave and 4 weeks of fully paid paternity leave. 

The company was categorized among 10% of companies that achieved gender balance at the executive level and 40% of companies that had developed 7 out of 8 policies promoting gender equality.

In response, Guinness Nigeria Plc’s Managing Director, John Musunga, reaffirmed the company's commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce, reflecting its adherence to the company's standards, strategic policies, and ambition.
