There was a fire outbreak at a Zenith Bank branch on Ajose Adeogun street, Victoria Island, Lagos state, on Wednesday.

Zenith Bank, Nigeria’s biggest bank by market capitalisation, is experiencing a total infrastructure downtime after a fire at the company’s primary data centre. The downtime affects Zenith Bank’s services, leaving millions of customers in the lurch. 

The Lagos fire service and rescue service responded to the incident, and the fire was doused before it could cause significant damage. 

Another fire outbreak was recorded at a warehouse in the Mende-Maryland area of the state. The building housed commercial and residential floors, but there were no reported deaths or injuries in either incident.

Zenith Bank is currently experiencing a total infrastructure downtime following a fire at the company's primary data center, which has affected its services and left millions of customers without access.
