9mobile invests over N70bn on network modernization — CEO
During the annual Channel Partners Conference in Lagos, Juergen Peschel, the CEO of 9mobile Nigeria, announced that the company has invested over N70 billion in upgrading its network infrastructure.
As part of this upgrade, 9mobile has added 600 new sites equipped with 4G LTE facilities, deployed new broadband services, and expanded its fibre network in several Nigerian cities.
Peschel also expressed confidence in the company's resurgence, citing the board and management's commitment to aggressively reclaim market share and 9mobile's focus on innovation, quality of service, and customer-centricity.
He further emphasized that the company is on track to regain its position as an industry leader.
